These terms cover the public pages and downloads on ashokayan.com, a personal website maintained by Rahul Ashokayan.
Articles and example code
Articles and downloads are provided for information, experimentation, and learning. They may contain mistakes or become outdated. Example code is not guaranteed to work with every board, component, operating system, or software version. Follow the testing limits and precautions stated in each article.
You may read the site and download example files for personal study or classroom use. Respect the copyright notices and any license supplied with a resource. Unless a separate license permits it or the law allows it, ask permission before republishing the site’s articles or distributing its downloads as your own material. Third-party images, software, and trademarks remain subject to their owners’ rights and terms.
Students and hardware projects
Students must work with guidance from a teacher or responsible adult. Have that adult check the parts, battery choice, wiring, and work area before connecting power. Follow the article’s precautions and the component manufacturers’ instructions.
For the battery-powered classroom projects described here, do not use mains or AC power. Disconnect batteries and USB power before changing connections. Do not short battery terminals or board pins, and stop immediately if anything becomes unusually hot, smells burnt, or appears damaged. A website article cannot replace hands-on supervision.
Responsible use
Do not use the site or its resources to harm others, interfere with systems, or access information without permission. Do not attempt to disrupt the site or bypass its security controls.
Apps and external services
Linked apps, product purchases, and external services have their own terms and privacy policies. Describing an app here does not replace its support documentation or establish a promise about future features or availability.
